Abortionist George Tiller Shot to Death

Prayers for his soul.

Although he might have been a bad person, he might have done terrible things, he was still human. He was a life--we of the pro-life cause value life, no matter what. Violence doesn't solve anything. The person who murdered Tiller is at fault, and not the Pro Life cause. Unfortunately, this will probably be used to further the "Pro-Lifers are terrorists" idea, and will be a huge blow to the pro-life cause...even though we grieve over the loss of a life, even though we deplore this violence. It also happened in a Church--Lutheran, but it's still a place of worship. The murder also flung Mr. Tiller's chance at conversion out the window, left his family without a husband/father, and most importantly killed a man. This is a terrible crime against life.

"We are shocked at this morning's disturbing news that Mr. Tiller was gunned down," anti-abortion group Operation Rescue said in a statement on its Web site. "Operation Rescue has worked for years through peaceful, legal means, and through the proper channels to see him brought to justice. We denounce vigilantism and the cowardly act that took place this morning. We pray for Mr. Tiller's family that they will find comfort and healing that can only be found in Jesus Christ."
